Incredible service
I have never felt as looked after as i did here. The welcome and care was outstanding. The man in reception was lovely, helped me find the entrance to the car park and then with my bags. Room 17 is a bit of a trek and the building is very old (very interesting) and i hope to be back

Short stay in beautiful Amersham
1 night stay to visit relatives. The hotel is a lovely old building in the heart of Old Amersham. Check in was easy as was finding my room. The room was comfortable but beware if you are very tall as the ceilings and doorways are low and I had to duck at 6ft tall. Room was a bit dark due to its position but not a deal breaker for a short stay. Floor could do with carpet to keep footfall noise down as could the room upstairs. The room was comfortable and slept very well. The bathroom is a little tired and could do with some attention. For example the light above the shower was not working and the ceiling paint/paper was coming away due to the damp and tile grout needs cleaning. Breakfast was good. Check out a bit disappointing as desk was unattended and telephone number given was not answered so just left my key on the desk.

Lovely
Stayed here 3 nights total, one night business then my wife joined for 2 nights in a different room. Loved it, rooms are spacious and airy whilst maintaining a country vibe and staff were excellent. As a side note Amersham old town is a fantastic place to stay
