Average hotel experience. Great pool.
Check in was a disaster. Our room was not ready for 2 hours past check in-time. We were told to wait 15 to 30 minutes for the room. Service at the restaurants were good, and exceptional by the beach. The photo studio did a good job with their photo shoot. I probably would go back but wont book the club room next time.

Room Charges - better system needed…
Overall the stay was acceptable but there was an that could be better. The charging of expenses to the room was fine until the deposit the front desk had taken on check in was used up. I then settled the bill and left them the original deposit but for the next 24 hours everything I tried to charge to my room again meant it was rejected at some point and a member of staff arrived at my hotel room with a credit card machine… it was just annoying and not something I would expect from a hotel chain such as this….. small things ruin holidays … This was the second hotel I stayed in whilst in Bali and in comparison the first one didn’t want a credit card deposit and I just settled the bill when I left.

2/10 Poor

Terrible stay overall
Terrible experience overall especially in services. Waited a long time for check in and luggages to be delivered (chased up with phone call). They left luggages in somewhere hot for 2 hrs. I got sick and got told by the front desk the doctor already left for the day at around 6pm when we saw the doctor the next day, he confirmed they operate 24 hrs. Good doctor. Doctor recommended to extend our stay and he will ring up the hotel manager to organise for extended stay. Were told by 4 different staff and went up to front desk twice and told different stories. Basically run around whole day trying to confirm we could extend our stay and then they quoted AU$100 more per night for two nights extended stay. Phone in the room smells after disinfected. Rooms outdated for the 5 star price. Lots of customers complained of the same things. Breakfast a nightmare and disorganised. Only positive food tasted quite good. Have to call up housekeeping everyday. No pool towels most of the time. Not good for couples holiday. Only good for family with children. They did send me a “get well soon flowers” but I rather them just gave my husband the service so that he didn’t have to run around just try to confirm our extension when I was so sick

Love being so close to the ocean with such beautiful grounds and pools. You don’t need to leave the resort for anything. Would have liked to have dined at the Japanese restaurant but it was closed. Also two other bars/restaurants were under renovation but the club lounge benefit was a lovely place for nightly drinks and canapés. A family friendly resort esp for young children,however adults could find spots around the pools that were quiet and relaxing

The staff as much as they are trying their best, are lacking basic english language knowledge , and this create a lack of share of general information , reducing by that tje qualitt of service that could be provided .. overall it was a good stay !
