    Christmas gift
For part of my 17 year old son’s Christmas gift, we stay at the Pan Pacific and go to the Christmas Market. The stay never disappoints!! The beds are comfortable and the food ( room service) amazing. A redo!!

    Amazing view and handy location!
We had stayed in a Pan Pacific in Whistler before arriving here, so we were expecting something great! It was very nice, but not great. The harbor view room was amazing - watching the boats and seaplanes on the busy harbor made up for the hotel shortfalls. I would stay here again just for the view! The room was a decent size, but a little dated. Queen beds instead of double would be nice. The lotions etc weren't very nice (the ones in the Whistler were really nice!) and the hairdryer was old and broken and only kind of worked. It always seemed like we didn't have enough towels as well! The location of the hotel is very handy. We could walk to a lot of places we wanted to explore. Downside is that it doesn't feel much like a hotel - feels more like a conference center with the upstairs lobby and layout. It feels more suited to business travelers. Parking is much cheaper if you pay the garage directly rather than add to your hotel charge (assuming you aren't coming and going frequently). The staff were friendly and helpful.

    Very good 8.0
    Enjoyable
The location is perfect. We were disappointed that the lounge was closed for a special event. Also check in was slow although there seemed to be a lot of staff but they were not acknowledging the customers...was odd When we asked about a a e to have a drink the fellow checking us in said he didn't know and that was that...
