Exceptional
This place is great. Located right in downtown DC. The room is clean and quiet, and I got a view from my window.

It's the line workers who make or brake a company
Do the third party reservation companies get the worst rooms? I had to fight for the room I reserved 5 months earlier. I was eventually given a room witb a sitting area, but the way I was treated at the check-in colored my trip! However, the housekeepers were wonderful and the evening person who took me to my room and helped me get into the room I had reserved, was a delight, and kept me from leaviing. I still have doubts about third party reservation services. I hope they get the same kind of service as a direct call would get. Let me know if I got this wrong. Thanks, Kathleen Bell

Charming hotel with hidden fees.
Brief overnight in DC by DuPont Circle, hotel was clean, friendly and convenient location for business and social events. Staff were friendly and helpful, informative and courteous, but hotel policy of charging all guests an additional “resort activity fee” ($28) was a negative affront in an otherwise pleasant experience here. Management here is mistaken to continue this additional charge to guests who do not use the gym or other facilities on what could be a brief visit. I decided to dine elsewhere in face of this fee. I was offended by this charge.
