Comfortable stay
Stayed here for one night for Blues on Broadbeach. Easy walking distance to Broadbeach and the light rail station is across the road if required. Parking was under cover. Check in was very easy and people polite. The room has been renovated with new carpet and paint. Room was quite large. Bed was comfortable and there was a decent size tv. Supplied with nice new looking bedding and fluffy towels, washer and shampoo, shower gel, and soap. There was a microwave and cutlery and crockery also. Had trouble with the hot/cold tap for the shower and reported this to reception when checking out. Overall a good stay for a 3* motel.

On a busy road
Warning if youre a light sleeper the hotel has poor soundproofing and you can hear loud cars go by from time to time. Hotel is ok furnished and conveniently near the tram giving you access to key tourist spots. But again the tram is near and you can hear it all night.

The staff were very unfriendly and rude, we asked for fresh towels and never got them. We stayed for 3 nights and only got one towel each. The toaster was filthy and didnt work. The place was full of drug dealers and drug addicts. It was very scary. People were swimming in the pool at 2am drunk and drugged. There was fighting and yelling - doors slamming all night - it was very scary. There was no restaurant, no room service or cable tv like advertised on the website. There was some kind of green slime on the floor. We were very disappointed in the false advertisement of these ammenities, it was nothing like it was described or looked like on the website. We will never stay there again! And we will tell our families and friends not to stay there.
