Worst place in Te Anau
This was the worst place we have stayed in during our three weeks holiday ( tail end as well). What’s on the web site is not what you get, we booked for two nights and wished we could have changed it. This place is so run down and so old. Cold water tap would not turn off and had trouble trying to wash your hands in the basin as tap spout was too close to the back of the sink. light over amenities and back of main bed didn’t work and we reported to manager and they couldn’t care less. Web site says has meals and drinks but it was all closed up and doesn’t seem to have been in operation for some time. Definitely Would not recommend this place !!!

Owners were extremely helpful. Internet was very slow and TV was fuzzy with only 3 channels but overall we had a good stay. Good value. Would stay again.

I enjoyed the stay at Fiordland Hotel. Very good value for money and I think it has been underrated. Good comfy beds and nice hot showers. Doesn’t bother me when the building seemed a bit dated. All the facilities in the room are still quite nice.

Was a cheap place to stay but wasn't a great place to stay , tv only had 2 working channels which we all pixilated , no fan and room was super hot, staff was okay , not much of a greeting nor when I left did they ask any question

The lack of any staff available in the region caused many properties to close. This hotel is offering accommodation only, no meals, bar or other facilities. Clean and quiet but BASIC but there is not much else available in Te Anau.
