This is a lovely hotel and nicely located. Right next to a tube station, great area to walk around and close to several museums and Harrods. The room could use more lighting - we found it rather dark - but it was spacious and comfortable.

Friendly, clean and beautiful
Very clean, and front desk/Concierge people extremely friendly. Bar and restaurant staff seemed to be new...not terribly knowledgeable, but again, very nice. Room was quiet...a nice plus! Visit began badly, since their management hadn't communicated my message about us arriving late, and they marked us as a "No Show" and cancelled our reservation. It was resolved by a call from Hotels.com...whom the hotel staff dissed as "one of the worst." Getting hot water in our 4th floor room seemed to be an issue...only solution was to watch water pour down the drain for almost 5 minutes! We're from a drought-ridden area, and that was horrifying to us.

A great hotel isn't a hotel where there are no problems. A great hotel handles problems with courtesy and effectiveness and a smile. My first room had an air conditioning issue. Everyone I spoke to cared, My room was changed. A very special thanks to Asfaz (sp) a young man from Afghanistan who is one of the smartest people I've dealt with in a hotel. Or any place. Perfect choice!
Lovely hotel in leafy Kensington - perfect for a visit to the Albert hall. Right opposite Gloucester Road tube stop & ten minutes walk to the hall. Room & all public areas were immaculately clean. We were offered a free upgrade on arrival & our room was perfect, beautifully decorated & quiet ( a real bonus in the city.) Plenty of restaurants & cafes nearby - great choice. Staff are all attentive & helpful - hope to stay again!
