Check the pool schedule before you come if you plan to use it. The rules seem to change daily which was frustrating. One manager says one thing and another says another. Room was clean other than the weird gross frosting over the one window.

The ladies at the front for check in were nice. The rooms were not very clean as we had to move rooms because on dirty bathroom to be put into a room with another bathroom that wasn’t cleaned. Instead of moving again, they just sent a housekeeper in to clean the 2nd bathroom. They have you schedule a time to have the pool, but then they scheduled 4 rooms at the same time and ended up with close to 20 people at once with no way to distance from the others. The breakfast was just OK. Nice to have free parking. Close enough to most things if you’re OK with a little bit of a drive.

We received terrible customer service. When tried for early check in a month in advance and kept being told to call back. Finally day of they said we can do early check in but they will change our room from king to double - we declined. When we checked in they stated if we needed cleaning to call and they will send someone. When we asked the front desk for cleaning service they handed us a bunch of sheets and told us to change the bedding ourselves. There were no bar soap or body wash in the rooms - also had to go down to get. The staff was rude and unpleasant. They charged so much for us to do our own work on our Valentine’s Day weekend. We were very disappointed and requested for a refund.

The TV remote was very old and not responsive. The sink is located outside of the bathroom and that was not convenient. There was a check in that had a single adult female and 8 little kids. Of course they were running down the hallway at 10pm making a ruckus. Noticed reviews that mentioned the loudness and kids. Maybe this place is used for section 8 housing during cold spells. It was the coldest spell in the Chicago area in 25 years. And no microwave in what is called a "suite".

The hallway on the floor we stood in smelled like weed every day. There was two occasions the elevator smelled like weed as well. There was in incident that I personally didn’t feel safe as there was no staff in front that day and there was several cars speeding in the front of the hotel.
