We were hoping for a one of a kind experience. We certainly got one. When we arrived front of house staff were fantastic. When we got to our room, there was and empty cocktail glass at our door. 2 housekeeping staff in the hallway- the glass stayed there the whole time. Woke up to make a delicious coffe to have in bed, out coffee cups were dirty. Had been placed top down unwashed. I approached front of house staff who were mortified. Guest experience manager took it upon himself to get us coffees which was lovely. Some of the toiletries were pre used, it makes you a bit uneasy this day and age, in the pay per use amenities area of the room I looked at the drink bottle that was for sale, it had water in the bottom of it, been used, the hat had makeup in the rim, been used too. Items should be checked each departure. Room attendants need more training. So it was an experience, not the breathtaking one it should have been though. Front of house staff saved the trip. Well done to them.
