Nope
This hotel looks absolutely amazing throughout, but unfortunately that’s as far as it goes. Very much a case of “style over substance”, the designers have gone all out to make a thousand Instagram opportunities, but once you look past the flash and the boutique design, there’s not much going for it. Customer service is non-existent - most of the staff we encountered seemed bored and aloof, and at no point were we made to feel welcome or like valued guests. Had to ask several times to get new towels and toilet rolls for the room, and getting the room cleaned during our four night stay was a battle.
There have been a LOT of reviews in which people said they were charged for minibar items they didn’t use. Due to this we took photos of ours as a precaution before checking out and, no surprises, we were still charged for items that were there when we left. They refunded us when we challenged this , but there was no email about the charge - we just happened to see it on our bank statement so I wonder how many others just pay these fraudulent charges without realising. This is clearly a persistent issue at the hotel which they seem reluctant to address, so my concern is that the staff are benefiting from it.
There were some good points to the hotel: The location was great, and the pool was lovely. But unfortunately the bad far outweighs the good and we won’t be returning.
