Two days at the Ginza Creston
We caught a taxi to Ginza Creston from Tokyo Station. Not too far, and only cost Y1300, They had notices informing guests that building work was happening, but we noticed no noise or disturbance. We were given a comfortable, modern room on the 34th(?) floor - have never stayed in a room at this height before! Room contained all amenities you might expect: TV, aircon, fridge, DIY tea/coffee, modern Japanese hot water toilet separate from bathroom vanity/shower/bath. Brilliant view over the river, bridges, and city lights. Two superettes, MacDonalds and Subway (food) in near new complex next door to hotel. Pleasant walks into the Tsukiji and Ginza areas with great coffee and shopping. Despite the hotel's name, it's not in the central Ginza area, which is about a 2 km walk (in the heat, or catch a subway train). Hotel staff were friendly, were happy to store our luggage when we arrived a few hours before checkin, and provided us with maps and information. A good experience.

Nice rooms, a little bit of a walk
This hotel was nice- decent room size for Tokyo which is the main reason we chose it. It's a good 25min walk to the nearest JR line if you bought the JR pass. It's only a few minutes walk to the nearest metro line though. As far as being "in the heart of Ginza", you aren't. It's about a 10-15min walk to where you want to be for the shopping etc. It wasn't a bad location, but I would probably stay at a different hotel next time just for ease of walking so much to do anything. We had the JR pass and since it's so expensive, we wanted to use that. So there was a lot of walking involved for us where it would have been a shorter walk if we stayed closer to the heart of Ginza.

Good stay for business
All are good except a hidden-cost charge of "daily hotel accommodation tax" which was not shown when booked the hotel. May want to fix the issue

Awesome view
Top floor view of Tsukiji was fantastic. Staff was good. Only had no knowledge of Hitachi Seaside park which was surprising.
