Excellent stay at Rioca Posto 1. The room was fantastic, warm and quiet with fridge freezer coffee machine and everything needed for cooking if someone wants to . The location is perfect just a few stops away from the centre by tram or train from Traisengasse. There are laundry facilities which is great for a long stay. They are also offering breakfast for around 12 euro/pp and free coffee whichis a nice touch. Definitely recommended.

Excellent long weekend at this hotel - the rooms are big and spacious, even with a little kitchen. The location is good, right next to the train station and tram stop in central Vienna. The staff were absolutely superb - overall a great hotel with a lovely relaxed atmosphere

Not a non smoking Hotel...
The room itself very comfortable. Breakfast very good. Staff friendly but inefficient. Whilst the rate of smoking in Austria is twice the EU average, more than 75% of us non smokers have to put up with the smokers. Smokers on balconies adjacent mean your room fills with smoke. Ground floor there is a great outdoor area. Can non smokers use it? No, because the Hotel allows smokers to gather and smoke there. Disgusting. When the door is opened, clouds of cigarette smoke fill the Cafe and Reception area! I booked 7 nights. My room was never serviced despite the Hotel stating Day 3 and 6. Had to ask for tissues and toilet paper Day 6. The drain in the shower stinks and was partially blocked causing shower to flood. Had to pull the drain apart and run the extractor fan 24/7 so the room did not stink. The surrounding area is full of drug dealers, gangsters and hookers. Not nice. The rooms are not heated or cooled. There is a plug in heater "cooler". Useless. The noise from the large trams is very loud. Sleep with the balcony door closed, you wake covered in sweat and no breathable air at 2 a.m. No natural ventilation. Its a nice concept but poorly executed and in the wrong neighbourhood.
