It was awesome for the most part. Only issue was valet service getting us our vehicle the following day. It was corrected the following day. Overall it was a good experience.

Central location but constant noise.
We had a Bourbon Street facing suite. The room was over two floors and spacious. Air conditioning was also good. You are also right in the heart of the action. There is a serious downside though which I hadn’t expected and that was the street noise. The rooms have no real sound proofing at all and so the noise of the street parties is loud and constant. And I don’t mean just a background noise. Rather very loud music, singing and shouting all day and pretty much all night. Ear plugs were no defence. At something like 4am there would be a short break in the noise until the street sweeping process started which itself was another noisy process. It was relentless. So by all means come if you want to party all night but if you need some sound sleep you might want to be careful on room choice.
