    Beautiful location

Beautiful location right in the lush Oak Creek Canyon. Our unit opened up to the babbling Oak Creek providing a place for our kids to explore and splash and a peaceful babbling to fall asleep to. The cabin was well equipped and large enough to sleep 7 of us comfortably. It was generally clean, but the bathrooms were in need of some deep cleaning or updating as there was mildew along the seems. All in all a great place to stay.

    Lovely Place

Gorgeous scenery. Great service. Dining outdoors was so fun, just remember the restaurant closes on Monday... Unfortunately the bed linens smelled funky and the comforter was old and saggy. Linens are in much need of replacement. The bathroom needs updating, specially the grout around the tub. Bring your own soap and shampoo etc

A perfect place to stay in Oak Creek Canyon

We had an amazing stay at Junipine. The rooms were perfect for my family. Lots of space and very well maintained. We had great service from everyone working in the lobby and at the restaurant. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

    Junipine Resort

With our reservation with Hotels.com we were supposed to have a Creek View room and receive a complimentary bottle of wine on check-in - we got neither. Unit was badly in need of updating, particularly the carpet which was worn out and grungy. Give the price paid for the unit, we don't think these deficiencies are acceptable. We enjoyed the kitchen, patio with hot tub, and the nice forest setting.

Junipine room was adequate, Sedona sucks.

This is not a resort. It is not accurate to call it a resort. It is more of a rental property. The dishes in the cabinet were not well-cleaned. There was lipstick on one glass. There was not enough paper towels. The two upstairs rooms were locked. That made me nervous. I was not comfortable sleeping in a unit where I could not verify that no one else was in the unit with me. The fireplace is lit with matches I was left a box with three matches and a one-inch square piece of firestarter upon checkin. I wound up buying my own matches and firestarter at the local grocery. That sucked because traffic in Sedona is AWFUL. It was as bad as Mardi Gras in New Orleans. All of the attractions were as packed as a summer weekend at Six Flags. No parking, long lines, interminable waits, and you have to walk over a mile just to get to the trailhead. The prices for anything in the grocery store are outrageous. Nearly $100 for groceries that would have cost only half that in most other places. Food everywhere was overpriced and overrated, but the worst food was at the Table at Junipine. Bland, tasteless, and barely edible. I cannot stress that enough, do not get fooled by the prices at the Table- total ripoff. All of the staff, in the "resort" office and at the Table were great. They were really nice and helpful, but the product they were given to work with was a true disappointment.

This is a nice condo setting outside of the main strip of Sedona. Each unit is individually owned so amenities can vary. We found that front desk staff to be very accommodating. We stayed in Unit No. 9 which is a creekside unit. The unit was very clean and well stocked. It has a wrap around deck with plenty of seating. Very nice to sit out there and listen to the creek after a busy day of hiking. We could not see the creek - it is too low to see from the unit but we could hear it. The space is very large with a nice size family room, breakfast/dining area and a decent size master bedroom and bathroom. There is a wood burning fireplace in the front room and one in the master bedroom. Firewood and fire starters are supplied. The furniture is a bit dated, but, like I noted, each unit is individually owned and this is not a hotel which can afford to bring in new furniture when the old furniture is "dated". It is not cheap but you get a lot more space for your money that you would get for a similar priced hotel room. It is about 1/2 mile from Slide Rock Park and 1/2 mile the other direction from the West Fork Trail. Neither of these are walking distance as you are walking along a very busy highway. The complex itself has bbqs available and plenty of open space for kids to run around in. At night, the only thing we heard was the creek running. No car noises, no street noises, nothing. Made for a great night's sleep. The downsides is that the resort is about a 1
