Great location on the main square of Bolzano, albeit the bells from the Cathedral might keep you awake at night. The breakfast was excellent with great local produce and nice service. I liked the gym as well which was very well-equipped for a small European hotel. The hotel had a couple of free bikes which I used to tour the city, and their reception staff were very nice. On the other hand, I was placed in a top-floor room which was a slightly odd layout with the bed on a mezzanine level reaching into the attic roof. The room had only a sky-light and a small window; I found it a bit odd and the living area wasn't laid out in a conducive way to sit and relax. Also, the heating was quite fierce. I found the room very hot and dry and had to have the skylight open during the night as the hot air gets trapped in the roof where the bed is.
