Tekapo stay.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. We stayed in a motel unit which had fabulous views of the lake. Great location. Some furniture was a little worse for wear and needed upgrading. Sofa especially.

Pretty stunning views and close to pools and Mt John walks. However the amazing views shown from front of unit was tempered by the vehicle and pedestrian traffic going past. Would be quite imposing when busy. There is also a lot of forestry and subdivision development on the boundaries which has an impact. Disappointing especially as this was the most expensive accomodation on our trip.

The power kept going out at the property all evening and night so the heating was on and off constantly. When you rung to report it the answer phone said out of hours so not very helpful. Wasn't even late. Bathrooms clean and tidy along with kitchen
