Overcharging without recourse.
Hotel is beautiful and well structured. What brought down the rating was being double charged for meals and then upon ringing up the hotel I was informed the refund would take up to 2 days and that I would have to email them and ring back up for them “to make it a priority”. Obviously it’s their mistake, it’s not their priority to rectify it. Not the experience I expect if dropping $400+ a night.

Comfortable stay
Amazing setting and location with easy access to local restaurants and beautiful harbour walls etc. Hotel is nice although I felt the dining/bar area just lacked an atmosphere, which is a shame. I guess it’s hard to compete with the places on the water. We stayed in a deluxaroo loft suite which was nice though it was showing signs of wear and tear. The goodies bag/snack refill was different to what we expected - I think it would help if reception explained this at checkin in future for all guests. Overall though we were happy with our stay, just small things that I think could be improved.
