The room we had was spacious, and with a large, but very hard bed. We had to get an extra top-mattress. The bathroom had water-pressure issues, and was a bit outdated. The breakfast was good, but not execellent. The restaurant "Le Grand Bleu had a perfect location. Mixed experience with the waiters - top service and low service. But the food was good. Good experience from the Spa. We enjoyd excellent service! The shuttle-service was excellent, A small minus when ordering taxi to the airport as the fixed rate was set much to high. But, we managed to negotiate a discount. The pool-area was nice - we liked the salt-water swimmingpool. We loved the view from the room, restaurant and pool-area , and the caves were fantastic.

Overall this was a very special hotel, based on location to town and Isola Bella, spectacular views, private beach, and gorgeous (albeit a bit small) pool. Room was also updated and comfortable, with great ocean view from private balcony. My only criticism was that the food at the pool was a bit sub-par. We had poke bowls one day which were, lets say, not good, and the cocktails also were not up to the quality of the hotel level. I would recommend their main restaurant for lunch or dinner (pricey as expected)- solid food and amazing views, but don't expect Michelin level. Also included breakfast was very good. Overall, would still highly recommend.

Truly a beautiful beachfront property - the beach, the pool, the restaurants, all lovely. The room was also spectacular and had an incredible view. Great staff, the shuttle was helpful. Great stay! The only thing I would say is that the hotels of the hallway and certain areas of the hotel feel "older," -- carpets, older walls and ceilings, laminate floors in the lobby area. But the rooms themselves are fantastic and the pool and beach are just 10/10.

What a stunning resort ... One of a kind. The beach and pool terraced area were like no other place we had experienced. The staff was even more beautiful than the resort. They were very attentive, friendly and treated us like family and took care of our granddaughter like their own. The beach attendant even offered to fill our baby pool with fresh water? Finally, the food was fresh and delicious. Would go back again and highly recommend.

Unbelievable hotel!!! The location along the coast is absolutely gorgeous. The pool & restaurant is stunning but the real spectacular part is the private beach through the cave. Unbelievable. Safe, secure, not crowded, clean, spectacular water & bar, for drinks & snacks. Really a gem! You lose the sun later in the day, so take advantage early on. Bring good sandals / water shoes. The rocks & pebbles going down to the water can be tough on the feet. You’ll love this place! I really enjoyed my time here!!

You visit the hotel for the view and location, which it delivers on with the sea view rooms, pool and private beach. The property feels a bit dated however and lacks the quality of equivalently priced hotels. Breakfast was relatively poor and the offering around the pool not the best value but it’s almost what you expect. If you want a great base for Taormina with a view this works but it feels like the property and facilities need an update. Staff however were very helpful.

The views from everywhere in this hotel are undeniably beautiful. However, the rooms and general upkeep are mediocre at best. The food is absolutely horrendous and overpriced. At this price point, we expected much better. Would not recommend.

Great location for views and a direct entrance for swimming in the sea. Breakfast great also. Only problem 5th floor rooms were a bit tired and in need of refresh. My colleague stayed on floor 1 and his room was magnificent. Quite a long taxi ride to get to the centre, but a free bus provided .

This is a very unique property with a private beach. The beach is made of rock, not sand but still beautiful. The view is unmatched! I stayed in a sea view room, so I really enjoyed the balcony. Your neighbors are close, but our room was spacious and even included the dressing room. The pool chairs and scenic views are stunning. I would like to highlight the very helpful pool staff. They were wonderful, friendly, and set us up with a boat tour. Every day they were pleasant to be around. The same goes for the breakfast staff. The breakfast staff were polite, attentive, and helpful. I am America so I am used to luxury in hotels. My only recommendation is that the UNA Hotel update the hotel room bathroom. I would definitely stay here again! It was a pleasure!
