Good location to explore the City, and some very nice local places to eat and drink in the evening. It was nice to have a hotel bar too.

Only two things to be aware of. £50 a day to park in the car park. Use alternate parks or the park and ride at £3 a day and bus in then get a cab.

One of the worst Holiday Inns I would say. Dirty bathroom, unclean carpet and a breakfast which my dog might also refuse - English breakfast without eggs - seriously?! And mega watered down juice and guests struggling to find a seat in the breakfast room that was overcrowded. Seriously understaffed, resulting in a slow checkin process too. I won’t complain too much about a discounted parking charge of £50, as the room rates are way cheaper than other hotels without parking in the area. So if you add that up, it won’t hurt much. The only upside that has prevented the rating fall further are the staff members - super polite, helpful and professional. Special thanks to Harvey and the other lady (Kiera?) at the reception.

After an incorrect booking at another hotel - the Holiday Inn Express - IHG were on hand to help. The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout my stay. Lovely clean rooms, staff very warm and welcoming. Staff are very aware of guests needs. You can get spare towels etc from the front desk. Great breakfast and good eveming menu for the hungry traveller. Nice bar area open 24hrs. We had a very comfortable stay and only 15 minutes walk to the centre of Bath. Will defintely stay again.
