Parga is a precious gem of a town situated on the mainland, set on the beautitul Ionian sea coastline, with three of the most stunning sandy beaches closeby, and a labyrinth of tiny streets leading down to the harbourfront, lined with harbourside restaurants, bars and shops.Smart modern decor both inside and out make an inviting atmosphere, the lounge with a chandelier, cleverly designed wood cut coffee table and traditional wooden rafters, and the kitchen perfect for light meals and snacks. On the other hand -it's only a ten minute drive to the heart of Parga town, and a delight to wander the back streets with all manner of shops on offer, boats to the nearby island of Paxos leave the port on a daily basis or catch the water taxis to Valtos beach; a wide sandy beach with water sports and tavernas for a lazy day on the beach. The region of Epirus is awash with history and natural phenomena - explore the archeological sites such as the Ancient theatre of Dodoni or the Nicropolis site, visit the beautiful Souli watermills and try the Vicos Gorge walk or along the River Acheron, one of the five rivers in Ancient Greek history that led to Hades, the underworld.
