When I called to see if the pool was open i was told yes, when we got there I was told it wasnt. I was also informed of an open breakfast but it was grab and go.

Old hotel but maintained very well. Beds were extremely comfortable. Staff was pleasant. Hotel in an ideal location across Cooper River Bridge from Charleston and just a few blocks away from Patriots Point in Mt. Pleasant.

Dirty floors!
The floor in our room the was not carpeted. It left our feet dirty. It was not dirt that we brought in ourselves but was already there. There was something on the commode handle and bathroom floor that I had to clean up. The lady when we first entered the hotel the morning of our check-in was not very helpful. The man at the front desk when we checked in around 5 PM was nice and friendly. There were no lids for the coffee cups available even when we asked for them. The same lady when we checked out was there and again did not have a very good disposition. She was not very helpful. My receipt for the security deposit of $50 that she gave me does not show the amount that I paid. I also did not get a receipt for the room it’s self because I paid it through hotels.com. I asked for a room inspections so I would know that we got the security deposit back but she declined to do that.

Great location and very well taken care of.
This is the second time that we have stayed at this hotel. It’s a very simple yet clean and basic room. Beds were very comfortable. It was a great location for us because we had doctors appointments on both sides of the area, downtown Charleston and Mount Pleasant. Excellent location!!!

Never take 117
I was placed in room 117. This is directly next to the front end check-in desk and by the hotel employee work area. It was so loud starting at 6 a.m. in the morning that I could not possibly sleep anymore. Before even accepting the room I asked to be placed in a different room away from the lobby and was told there were no other rooms clean. It was a Sunday afternoon I can't imagine occupancy being that high

The breakfast was disappointing but I understand because of COVID. They could've had bottled water and/or juice though. They ran out of towels at one point and the cable was messing up, but overall the stay was okay. It was quiet and comfortable and the hotel was in a good location. I would stay here again.

lots of signs around the room stating it had been sanitized and clean but there was quite a bit or urine on the toilet seat so that was pretty gross. Also a few bugs here and there.
