Overall we are so satisfied with our stay at Eliassen Rorbuer. Fantastic location and could not be more authentic to the region. The only remark we have is that the sauna was in use during our stay, which should have added another layer to our experience. Can very much recommend Eliassen Rorbuer for anyone interested in visiting Lofoten. We will definitely come back!

Room was clean and spacious. However, pay the little extra money for the beautiful Mountain View! To be honest that’s what makes it special. Had to sit outside in rain to enjoy view. We had a superior double and couldn’t upgrade room because sold out, which I totally understood. Also, no place to get a drink until restaurant opened at 1800, so we decided to go to Anita’s seafood which was amazing. Can’t comment on breakfast because we chose to eat elsewhere.

Really beautiful, cute cabins right on the water. Beautiful views, kitchen was fully stocked, blackout curtains in the bedroom and the living room area was perfect for relaxing. We'd give it a 5-start except for the fact that the smoke alarms were overly sensitive when cooking. When boiling water, the alarm would go off because the sensor is right above the stove. Then the alarm malfunctioned and did some "quieter" beeping for 2 hours straight. It took us awhile to even realize that it was the smoke detector. We notified staff and they were super helpful and eventually found a fix. Seems small but it was quite annoying for the duration of our trip.
