Would stay there again.
The was our second time staying at the Boston Seaport Hotel. Overall, we like it very much and would stay there again. The only area of improvement, that we experienced both times we've stayed there, was the very slow service at the restaurants, even during slow times. The checkin process is quick and very convenient. Guest services are great. Parking is an additional charge but convenient. We used the self parking. Both the hotel and our room were clean and very comfortable. The hotel location is great. There are several great restaurants within walking distance to the hotel. I would highly recommend the Legal Sea Food restaurants and No Name. Tips are already included in the cost of the hotel. Our only minor disappointment at this hotel was how slow the service was at the restaurants. Our first morning there we went to the Tamo restaurant for breakfast. While the food was great, my husband had to wait over 20+ minutes for coffee. After bringing a carafe of hot water only, our waiter didn't come back for over 20 minutes so we could let him know it was only hot water. My husband already had his meal when he finally got his coffee. Later that day we went to Tamo bar and experienced the same slow service. All of the bar seats were taken at the bar so we sat a table in the bar area, since there was no hostess. We waited over 25 minutes before we could find the hostess to let them know we were sitting at the table. So for these reasons, I probably wouldn't eat there

Great with a little bit of bad
Overall the stay was great.. The only workers that’s weren’t friendly or welcoming were the front desk employees, they seemed like you were bothering them to check in.. the first night we stayed the fire alarm In our room went off because it was “dusty” this went on for Atleast a half hour, we had to stand outside the room while people asked us what was going on and what that noise was. The engineer that came up to fix the issue was awesome. He recommended that we speak to the front desk about the issue.. instead of going right there I wanted Til we checked out. The front desk employee I spoke with laughed and struged it off Nd said “ the engineer recommended you talk to us? The one that is supposed to fix it” not one time did he offer an apology.. I get it was memorial day and he prolly didn’t wanna spend it at work but that’s besides the issue.. I never complain or even send food back when it’s wrong.. I probably would have let the fire alarm slide and not even mentioned it in the review but after he laughed and acted like it was my fault the alarm went off, and didn’t offer and apology on behave if the hotel I had to write a review on it.. sorry seaport.. overall great location and awesome rooms..

"Sea (port) you soon!"
Truly a wonderful hotel filled with warm staff and clean rooms. Having decided to take my two sons on a trip during presidents week I googled every hotel to find reviews. I am a teacher we research. The both love history and Boston was the NEXT trip we had decided on. Being a single mom I want a safe place, close to everything that not over the top expensive and budget friendly. I found that PLUS more at the Seaport. I found a groupon that attracted me to this hotel from the start after more research I am so glad I chose the Seaport for our 4 day get away. The hotel is 1st class all the way, the area is great even if there is a lot of construction going on around it, which you do not hear inside at all.We were told the seaport area is up and coming. Boston is clean and friendly! The Seaport hotel is a FREE bus ride (silver line) from the airport, what a perk! There were so many delicious restaurants within walking distance after a long day of museum walking was another perk to be so close to places to eat. My two boys (15 & 22) thought mama really went all out to stay in this hotel! The rooms were comfortable (beds so nice) , clean, well stocked with what my kids thought was so COOL...shampoo and creme rinse dispensers in the shower., the coffee maker and re-fridge were a good bonus. Having dunkin and 7/11 across the street we opted each morning to start off light so we could eat a light lunch and splurg more on dinners.

Great Boston Escape!
I stayed at the Seaport Hotel for a company Christmas party. There was a special group rate that was very reasonable. I needed an additional night that I booked through Expedia, and it was only $30 more. Very good rates for this level of service and quality! The hotel has a 'no tipping' policy because all is included. This was AMAZING to me - although it was difficult as an ex-waitress. What impressed me is how friendly everyone was! And, because they weren't trying to get tips, it resonated with me how genuine it was. Because of my Expedia status, I got 'Turn Down' service (I had no idea this was going to happen!). I walked into the room with the bed turned, a complimentary Fiji water, Ice, and soft classical music playing. NICE TOUCH!!! Thank you Expedia!! GREAT food in the bar/restaurant! One of the bartenders remembered my name. Loved her! I was in a rush for breakfast but didn't eat enough to justify paying for the buffet. They advised my server that I needed to get in and out, and I kid you not - 15 minutes from walking in to leaving!! The 18% gratuity is added, no tipping extra. Which actually saved me money because as an ex-waitress, I typically tip 25% to 30%. Recommendations: 1. Pay the extra $10 for Valet parking. Self-park is great, but the parking garage is a bit confusing to navigate. 2. State-of-the-art light switches - they all have a master on/off. I went around the room turning them all off individually the first night!

Housekeeper in a hurry
We were there because our daughter was competing in the Boston Marathon. It's VERY expensive, but most hotels are on that weekend. People were amazingly professional and accommodating, friendly and helpful. We were not to tip much of the staff that one is accustomed to tipping. That was convenient; we assume they pay their employees well enough that they don't have to rely on tips. When we checked in, our room wasn't ready, although we had made the reservation long ago. We had to get ready for an engagement that was in a different part of town in 2 hours. They got right on it and we had perhaps a 20-minute wait. Even though we didn't request any compensation, they offered us 3 drink vouchers for the inconvenience, or free parking. We chose the free parking, and then they tossed in the free drinks anyway. (We only used one.) The only problem we had was the next day. Check-out is noon. At 9 AM, after arising early to see our daughter off and having breakfast, we decided to take our luggage to the car, planning to return to the room to use the bathroom and hang out for a while until it was time to leave for the race.(The race would end long after check-out time.) We left a couple of items in the room and left the privacy notice on. We did not check out. When we were leaving, the housekeeper saw us--mind you, we didn't check out and the privacy light was on--and when we returned she had our room stripped and our personal items in a plastic bag for return. More to add but no space
