Nice boutique stay
Very enjoyable stay. Nice corner mini-suite with lots of light. Comfortable bed. Nice rain head shower. Ask desk about pillow options. We learned (after our stay) that options were available.

The only Place I stay when visiting NYC.
The only place I stay in Manhattan. Quiet. Beautifully appointed rooms and within walking distance of all shopping, Broadway, Central Park and museums. I’ve stayed here three times in the past few months and it’s a great experience everytime. Great customer service as well!

Great Stay
My Fiance and I had a wonderful stay, the team at the Chambers was extremely accommodating and the location was perfect for easy access to Upper Manhattan and Mid-town.

Fun, different hotel in midtown
This is a fun hotel in mid-town that feels more like a SoHo hotel with a modern vibe and whimsical decor. The room was large and comfortable. My favorite part was the desk, which had a roll of drawing paper and a cup holder full of sharpened colored pencils for drawing. The coffee shop has pastries from St. Ambroeus, which are incredible. The restaurant is pretty and the food was delicious. My only complaint is that when I inquired about upgrading to a different room, they upgraded my room and never informed me that it was an additional $200. I did not find out about the uncharge until I checked out.

Worst Customer Service
I had a reservation for Saturday night. My first impression thus far was horrific. I do understand that I’m entering into New York where the culture is indeed different. This is my first time to New York and traveled five hours from VA to get here. When arriving to check in, I think the front desk manager’s name was Brandon or so he said he was the manager (later I found out he wasn’t) I stood there and just if anyone is going to assist me and check me in. Brandon then abruptly said, “Ma’am you’re being rude and do you not see me talking to my colleague?” I was literally stunned by what he said especially in a customer service hospitality industry. Brandon also gave my friend Ben (whose listed on this reservation as well) a hard time too. I do not understand why Brandon gave both of us a hard time. In my head I was thinking, is it my skin color, is because I may appear younger looking, is it because he is having a bad day, or 10 million other reasons why I didn’t receive the customer service I deserve to have like any other guest. Anyway we checked in and decided to go out when we came back the real manager apologized to us and tried everything she could to make it right, she offered us wine, etc but the damage was done. It’s so sad that when I do go back to NY i wont be going back here.
