I’ve stayed at the Leela Palace, Bangalore many times. It is very nice. Very friendly and helpful staff. Restaurants and bars are a bit expensive, but again, very nice. This visit, the shower drain was clogged causing the bathroom floor to flood. That said, it was promptly corrected. Some of the restaurant menu items seem to have changed slightly this trip, and while still good, maybe not quite as good as previous stays. The breakfast buffet was superb as always. All in all, the Leela Bangalore is a great place to stay, and I would not hesitate to return!

Best hotel I’ve ever stayed at
This has been my third time staying at the Leela Palace Bangalore and it seems to just get better with time, if that’s even possible. The hospitality is superb, staff is helpful, and I always feel welcome whether I’m traveling for business, pleasure, with coworkers, or solo.

Disappointing....
While the hotel is decorated very nicely and most of the staff was very kind, the two things I will remember about my stay at the Leela in Bangalore are: 1. The room smelled like mold. It was most likely the HVAC, but it made for a very unpleasant experience. I did not want to have the AC on due to the smell, but it made the room hot and stuffy. 2. We went with four friends to have dinner at Jamavar. There was one large rectangular table which was set and a second large round table not set. We requested to sit outside due to the strong AC. We were told that the tables were reserved and not available to us. Despite raising the temp, it was very cold inside. When we left two hours later, neither of the large open tables had been occupied. Customer service does not exist at Jamavar. The goal seems to be to boss the guests around rather than create an amazing experience. We will not stay at the Leela again in any location.
