It is worst worst worst place to stay. You should select this place when there is no other place left to stay on this earth. The staff of this merely a small motel kind of hotel isnt supportive at all. I requested them to keep my 2 small cabin bags at their bell desk as werent allowed that on tour for just one day before as second day i already had reservation at this place and they shamelessly refused to keep my cabin bags and gave stupid reason of liability this people cant take liability of 2 cabin bags will they care about you or your stay!! Things dont end here guys i checked in at around 9-10 and i had flight early next morning at around 6 and guess what at around 11:40 their fire alarm goes off and it was so loud that you can barely hear someone's voice next to you and it was not one time it rang after every t minutes for 2 hours and when i called there reception they said they are facing some problems with alarm so guys TAKE TIME AND READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE BOOKONG THIS PLACE I FELT MISERABLE FOR BOOKING THIS PLACE I DONT WANT OTHERS TO FACE THIS. So i took time to write this review. I read the bad reviews before foe this place but i thought it is just a matter of one night but this worst place cannot be even booked for an hour Mark my words guys you will regret if you book here. I will post this review everywhere as i dont want someone to fall in same pot hole in which i had already fallen.

    Very good 8.0
We loved our stay. AMAZING LOCATION 1 block off the strip! Hotel lobby is small, which makes for check-in a bit overwhelming if there's a lot of folks checking in. But didn't bother us whatsoever. The hotel rooms and casino were recently renovated, which made for a nice stay. Room was clean, AC worked perfectly, we had NO issues at all with our room. Hallway walls and carpeting definitely need an overhaul, but again, didn't bother us. We aren't sleeping in the hallways so no big deal! Pool area and hot tub - both SMALL but was perfect for us. We just needed an hour to relax. There were about 6 other people in the area, so wasn't that crowded, but again small pool area so if you're looking for a fancy pool lounge area or somewhere to swim laps or a pool bar - ha ha this place is not for you. Casino is awesome - small, cozy but does pay out :) Dealers are cool, bartenders nice. Pizza spot is yummy and of course the Village Pub for steak - a must do even if you aren't staying at the hotel. Good portions, great prices. Also the included continental breakfast is great. It's coffee and 3 baked goods per person. Was great for us. Or you could upgrade for $5 more and instead of the continental, purchase one of two options (waffles or eggs with bacon/sausage and potatoes. We were satisfied. Will definitely be back. Rate is great. One of the only properties that has a "resort fee" for less than $25 a night!

    Decent price
If you get a non smoking room and manage to avoid most of the unprofessional staff during your stay, then you will get value for money. Breakfast isn't great, but it's good enough. You get a safe plus a bottle of water per person everyday and fridge in non smoking room. It is $250 fine if you smoke in it. Strip is 15 minute walk away. Super8 have their own brewery. Their restaurant is cheaper than the expensive strip, and decent. I had a tracksuit top and socks stollen, probably by their maids because i left them in a room that we swapped. Other than that, we had no problems, except that the walk to the strip contains one or two homeless people/drunks, but they exist along the strip too. Despite the above, we would consider super8 again, but we would hire a car to visit grand canyon, hoover dam, red rock etc which we have in our sights. The gambling freebies that are mentioned are not real unless you gamble thousands. The vegas show was quite good but over priced. Anthony cools was brilliant at $29. Vegas can be a very costly place, the 12% tax on visible prices annoyed us. Free things, go in hotels, especially caesars, watch the belagio fountain, mirage volcano eruption. Can't drive? Get a 72 hour bus pass $20 takes you to the vegas sign and to downtown, well worth it. Along the way, stop off at circus circus, they actually have a circus, a small one bu very good and free, good unknown acts.

6/14/18-6/19/18 stay at Ellis Island Hotel
1st impression upon arrival in the lobby was that the Hotel was going to be a little shabby. The staff was dealing with a group of older gentlemen from another country. The men didn't speak English and the staff didn't speak whatever language they were speaking. The staff remained cool under pressure as the gentlemen were becoming very loud as they didn't understand their bill. A "new" gal tried to check me in. It was a little confusing for her as I had made my initial arrangements for 4 days with Expedia. Then realized a few weeks before my arrival that I needed an additional day. So, I had called them directly to reserve a room for that additional day. So, I had to wait for one of the more seasoned staff to check me in. Not really a big deal. My trip from the lobby to the room made me think that the room was probably going to be a bit rough. As the elevator and hall ways were quite shabby. The carpet in the hallways was both filthy and occasionally ruffled (potential trip hazard). The front door to my room had apparently been forced open at some point as it had significant pry marks. But once inside, the room had been remodeled recently. Was very satisfactory!!! I was very pleased that they provide a refrigerator. Last time I was in Vegas, I stayed at the Venetian. The Venetian is a very nice Hotel. But it doesn't provide you a refrigerator, except for the one that is stocked with 5oz sodas and water for $8/ea. I've heard that all the Hotels on the strip are doing this now.

    Exceptional 10.0
Check-in took a while because only one person was working at the desk. Over 20 minutes passed and finally another desk clerk came aboard. By that time, there was still the guy in front of me waiting plus five others behind me. Once it was my turn, check-in took all of one minute, and the clerk put me on the 3rd floor away from all the noisy folks they put on the 1st & 2nd floors. So, that was a definite plus. The King Non-smoking room was nice. I got 2 bottles of water per day free. The free breakfast was 3 pastries which was served to you (rather than the usual buffet continental breakfast at most hotels), plus all the coffee, juice, and water you want. There is an option to upgrade to a 2-egg, 3-bacon, 3-biscuit breakfast for $5. I did this one morning, and it was all right. (You don't get the pastries along with it, though.) There was also a growler in my room with a tag attached for a free beer fill-up at the casino (and supposedly no strings attached). I did not partake in this, but free beer is always a good thing. This hotel is a couple of streets behind The Strip, so you're away from all the lights and the ruckus but still close enough to walk to the lights & ruckus if you want to. All in all, and aside from waiting forever at check-in, it was a very pleasant experience, especially for the rate I paid. I'll definitely have to come back!!!
