Very Good Hotel in a Great Location
A very good hotel. The staff members were outstanding. They were all knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. My room was impeccably cleaned every day. The room was relatively spacious, as was the bathroom. The bed was comfortable (very firm mattress). There was a reasonable charge for a good breakfast served in a pleasant setting. The hotel location is a couple blocks off the busy Via Trastevere, almost next to the church San Francesco a Ripa. It’s close enough to restaurants, a food market, cafes, and the tourist sites in Trastevere, but far enough away from the crowds. I would definitely stay there again.

If you are thinking of exploring Trastevere this is a great option! it was not the cleanest, but it is a place just to go back sleep and leave early to go do more discovering around the area. now... the staff was amazing! very professional! happy people!!!

Hotel San Francesco is a little gem hidden in the quieter side of Trastevere, which is only one tiny block from all the restaurants and bars. The hotel itself has a friendly and chic vibe, and the staff are just wonderful. We stayed here twice and will return again, without a doubt, next time in Rome.
