Super convenient, especially if you want to be by the wharf. We had a balcony, so we were people watching, and also had a nice view of some of the Bay.

Convenient but with downsides
Conveniently located, offers free parking. You need key access to stairs, elevators, and the front gate so you feel super safe and secure. You can also bring dogs to stay with you at a reasonable rate ($25 per night). However, the upkeep of the hotel is not very good. There were portions of the ceiling that wasn’t fully painted, shower faucet was difficult to close all the way, they even have signs that say water temperatures may fluctuate any time (this didn’t happen to me, just a sign saying so). And you will hear every single foot steps from people staying above you, not to mention all the drunk people outside in the middle of night.

Location, Location, Location
Absolutely PERFECT location. Walking to Fisherman’s Wharf took 3 minutes, Pier 39 took 7 minutes. 7 Eleven right across the street for drinks and incidentals. Friendly, efficient staff. Parking on site. Hotel is a bit rundown, but location made up for it overall! Totally recommend!

Not great, but no terrible. When we first arrived the room smelled like bug spray, but went away once we opened the door to the small balcony. There’s no microwave but a nice fridge. Very small shower

Clean, slide to attractions, poor customer service
The hotel is close to Fisherman’s Wharf and right across the street from Boudin Bread. So location is great with easy walking distance to everything. Overall the hotel was clean-we did find a Bobby pin stuck to the shower curtain. Rooms are updated. If you are 6 feet or taller, you wouldn’t fit in the shower in our room. Parking is not great, and when we arrived before 3 pm check-in, they charged us $15 to park, when without checking into the hotel. The lot wasn’t full and we were staying that night, but they still charged us. Also, front desk lacks good interpersonal skills. Basically, this is a budget motel in the heart of SF. If you can afford to splurge and stay someone with more convenience, you should do it.
