Good
Below average hotel
The receptionists give an average service. They answer if only you ask. Otherwise they don’t give enough information about the facility and services available. The corridor to the A side of the rooms smells really awful. Carpets are so dirty and full of stains. The rooms are cleaned okay. The terrace was in a very bad condition and dirty. The SPA receptionist was very arrogant and unwelcoming. The breakfast was average but the view from the restaurant was great.

A flying visit to Tallinn
Since I was last there the hotel has been bought by another company and they have given the place a bit of a refurb. It is great to see the pictures on the wall from when the hotel was the main base for the sailing at the Olympics in 1980. The room, including the bathroom, are spacious, clean and tidy, with good wi-fi. There is plenty of variety at breakfast time and its always being topped up. The swimming pool, steam room, sauna and gym are an added bonus to the hotel. You are only a 10 minute bus ride out of the centre of town and that ride has great views of the Tallinn coast line.

Very good
A real mix
Our stay at this hotel was a bit mixed. The sea views were lovely,I had a nice swim in the pool and the breakfast was great but the rooms we were given were on the 3rd floor which involving a long walk along a corridor followed by a climb up a metal spiral staircase -- not easy when carrying heavy suitcases ! We did ask for better rooms but were told the hotel was fully booked. The room was basic,no fridge or kettle, but a comfortable bed and good shower.
