The hotel is located in a really good area near restaurants, shopping centers, great distance from the border and downtown San Diego. My room was very clean, definitely needed new curtains ( some holes on them), pool area was closed, parking lot has some trash. Location was excellent.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights while we were in San Diego for my daughter’s school sports tournament. I was honestly skeptical at first because our budget was limited, but I was pleasantly surprised by our stay. The location was very convenient—right off the highway and close to Walmart, the mall, gas stations, restaurants, and other stores. We also felt very safe during our entire stay. The building itself could use some exterior maintenance and power washing, but the property and room were clean. The parking lot and front desk area were also very clean. The pool was not working during our stay, but the pool area was clean. Our one-bedroom room was spacious and included a microwave and a good-sized refrigerator. The mattress was surprisingly comfortable, and the water pressure was great. The air conditioner worked extremely well—maybe a little too well! 😂 There was no breakfast, but for the price we paid, that was not a problem. Housekeeping did not come during our stay, but when I requested a broom and trash bag, the front desk was happy to provide them. An iron was also available at the front desk. Overall, this was a safe, clean, affordable, and convenient place to stay. It may not be the fanciest property, but for the price, I was satisfied. I would definitely stay here again if I were traveling on a budget, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable place to stay in the San Diego area.

The room was clean but felt weird. The restroom had damage to the walls. The towel handle was broken. There were only two towels, one hand towel and a bath mat/towel provided. The building is pretty beat up. We did not expect that from the pictures on the website. The elevator certificate has been expired for two years. Although the elevator buttons didn’t light up, it worked. Check-in was easy and the lady there was very nice. We were asked for both of our ID’s, our car license plate and a credit card. We slept well and comfortable but every sound coming from outside made me nervous.
