Great location beautiful historic townhouse.

Dont do it
This had to be the worst stay I have ever encountered in all my travels. The place was okay. The service was horrible in that after hours as the guests above our room decided to rearrange furniture for 5 hours straight, fun back and forth across the room and repeatedly drop things on floor while their TV blared throughout the entire building...no one was working to handle the situation. It is absolutely absurd to run a hotel with no personnel working at night to handle problems. We had flown across the country for my daughter to start treatment at Boston Children’s Hospital only to forced awake ALL NIGHT on the eve of her admission. The paper thin walls, lack of service and inconsiderate fellow guests made this a business I will never frequent again. ...and $30 for a parking spot owned by the hotel is just stupid. Not to mention there is zero climate control for the rooms. I would leave and demand a refund 4 hours ago but no one is here to do anything.

Keep away. They said heat will turn on, but never did. Had to move to another room. Again no heat. Boston was 26° outside. They claim heat is set at 70° , clearly, it was not working. I was bundled up with woolen cap, socks, double layers of clothes and 2 heavy blankets. Indoors. The "emergency person", a man who answered phone says, he cannot do anything. Told me to go to the other room. Did not want to give his name, and just stayed on the line, not saying anything. Was probably hoping I will hang up. Not until I said I'd call the fire department. Maybe they can give me a portable heater. Thats when he said he see what he can do. Terrible, terrible customer service. Found out later his name is David. He sounded annoyed that I did not accept the move to the other room. The front desk lied about the heat not working. She said it turns off and on. So, I stayed, only to find out, no heat. Another person came, she said , she will

Too expensive for value
Our first stay was quaint. This one was uncomfortable. This room had a bathroom down the hall, not in the room. The breakfast nook was not stocked with any food. The price was astronomical. The location was convenient. This is just too expensive for the value.

The best thing the receptionist. The worst, the sound of the trolly.

Cute and quaint. Not your typical hotel in Boston but was unique and perfect for what we needed that night.

there is no service, of any kind. There is no public space, just a few feet around the checkin desk which makes it awkward to meet with friends or eat the not very good but paid for breakfast. The rooms are okay, mine was large, but there was no instruction about where things are, like the toilet in my friends’ room which turned out to be behind a closet type door, entirely separate from the shower, and which they did not locate at first. Also, my friend is older and carrying the luggage up 4 flights— no lift— was hard , but no offer of help was forthcoming.
