You get what you pay for!
I want to start by saying that the staff at La Quinta was fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. What seemed like a good deal turned out to be a lousy stay. First of all, the bathroom was not clean. I had to clean the previous guest’s zit juice off the mirror. (Gross!) The bottom of the tub/shower was filthy. The pool was so dirty and cloudy that I could barely see my feet through the water. Also, the pool looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in a month. I didn’t notice these things until I was already in the water. (I quickly got out, went back to the room for a good shower. The tv in the room didn’t even get local network programming. They did bring up a replacement, but I had to program the channels myself. (Unacceptable) Then there were the other guests on the floor. Let’s just say that the clientele was, shall we say, loud. Yelling down the hallway at all hours of the night, slamming doors, etc. Then there was the couple in the room across the hall. They were literally having a domestic fight that could be clearly heard by much of the floor. Screaming profanities at the TOP of their lungs, and you could hear actual hitting. The police showed up and literally kicked in the door at gun point. Good times! I learned a lesson. Pay a little more and stay at a more upscale hotel instead of what seemed like a flop house for the riff-raff.

Minor Cleanliness & Noise Issues, but Comfortable
Staying here was alright. There were a few mysterious stains on the carpet and one on my chair. A big downside to the stay was that I could hear the people in the room next to me wash their dogs at 12am. However, the bed and shower were very comfortable.

Overall, not a bad place to stay.Breakfast was very disappointing.Toilet wouldn't flush. Brought it the attention of the young man on nights and was never fixed before checkout. Service could have been friendlier at checkout.Family in other rooms had no complaints other than breakfast.

Comfortable beds and pillows, great location, very caring staff. Pool was cloudy and needed some definite updating. We went 2 days and both days we felt it was too dirty to swim. A LOT of dogs stay at the hotel and they barked, often. So plus - location, clean rooms, friendly staff. Minus- dirty pool needing updating and noisy dogs.
