Wonderful New England Inn
I couldn't be happier with our Easter Weekend getaway! The Inn is so nice and the pics online are factual. It was very warm and comfortable. The Tavern was a great place to have a cocktail. Easter dinner in the restaurant was excellent and the canopy bed was awesome. All of the staff were wonderful but I'd like to give an extra shout out to bartenders Jim and Lisa in addition to Kate and George from the restaurant.

Good
Room was very small. Bathroom extremely small. TV extremely small. Hard to regulate temperature. Room next to exit extremely noisy which bothered the dog. Lots of ice outside exit in parking lot could have been cleared better. I’d avoid Room 31 if possible. Hotel does not want us to use hotels.com to book. They want us to book directly with them. First experience way better than this visit.

We really enjoyed our weekend there. Hotel is very rustic and romantic. Love the atmosphere. Those working the front desk were very helpful and welcoming. Thank you We will be back

Quaint little place, the rooms were cute. The food was decent tavern food and the drinks were good - the room could have used Netflix or amazon on the tv, but we got by with our laptop. Overall the place was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and in a good location off the beaten path. Would recommend.

Wuhan/Chinese Flu fears demands different service
Very Nice stay... Sadly Wuhan fear/rules had another win... I gave neutral review on service since room cleaning was not an option and we did not eat at the restaurant. We checked in online and saw Chris in lobby to get our room key. Essentially no service was experienced or required... Sad to not see or be able to chat with others!

Very comfortable and affordable
Very comfortable, clean and super nice folks. Lamie’s is an 1800’s estate, so it’s not a modern hotel if that’s what you’re looking for. I did ask if there were ghosts, and the host assured me that there were none thankfully!!

Knew nothing about the hotel, found it much better than expected. We will definitely be back soon.

I enjoyed the ambiance of an old inn, while also having the advantages of modern conveniences. Had a good meal at the restaurant, and when I asked for extra crispy fries, I got excellent, extra crispy fries.

Historic facility in need of attention!
Though the inn is charming, it needs a good update. The beds lean to one side and need replacement; rooms are stuffed with miscellaneous pieces that dont support user comfort; bathrooms are small; bedding and towels excellent quality; our sink has a visible crack in the material; to go breakfast very poor- you could have had a packaged bagel/muffin and not just a tiny yogurt and juice; the one wingback in our room is poor quality and not comfortable. Just need to take a hard deep look at what is being offered rather than complacency. Our checkin lacked efficiency and timeliness....the host is very conversational.
