The view is like no other. I love how remote it feels. No wifi is a plus for me.

The property is a rustic, old National Park Service Lodge. Despite its being completely renovated a few years ago, it is in need of TLC. The setting is amazing and staff does a great job keeping things clean and tidy. However, at least in our room, the beds are worn out and in dire need of replacing. Also, the second night we were there, the fire alarms kept going off for a few seconds every few minutes between about 8:45 PM and midnight. Despite our reservation being made several weeks in advance, we were assigned one of the least desirable rooms in the complex. We've had this happen several times with Expedia bookings. Not sure if this is just a random issue, or the facility has a policy of assigning the lesser desirable rooms to people with third-party reservations. We had other issues, as well. If you're looking for a place to get away from it all (including no TV or internet, and 1-no bar cell reception), this is the place to go. In my opinion, the price is a bit steep for the value, but everyone has their own opinion.

We loved the location. The beach is amazing. The property is well kept however a bit aged and the power went out in our room the morning we were preparing to leave.

The location is great. Because of that I have been going there for two decades, always hoping that a better management would fulfill the promises of a wonderful place. Instead, every year the experience gets poorer. It might be unfair to judge this year 2020 because of the difficulties caused by Covid 19 but, because of that, I expected at least a cleaner room...not so.

Pacific views are amazing!!
Location was spectacular- restaurant food was very good! Room was good, patio view and chairs were good Bathrooms were motel quality but clean so okay - there was tone of space for suit cases which very nice No WiFi and no tv was a drag but I knew that going into the booking so not a shock Microwave in room was too small for not having food service after 8 pm- popcorn bag filled it up Fridge was okay size for beverages Mercantile shop was well stocked and good variety I would absolutely visit again! 😊👍

We were unsatisfied with our stay primarily because the lodge had closed their restaurant 5 days before we arrived and never notified us of this change. We had to by our supoer from their small grocery shop because the neareat restaurant was 45 minuted away. The cabin they gave us was small and cute but not worth the $300 they charged for 1 night.

5/5 stars!
These little cabins are AWESOME! We booked one with 2 queen beds and my goodness— they were some of the most comfortable I’ve slept on at any hotel! The cabin was very clean, complete with accoutrements for making a fire in the wood oven. The food at the main lodge was delicious. A bit on the spendy side, but I’m happy contributing to support the local economy there. The best part of all: the views. It doesn’t get much better than that!

What an amazing location and property! The friendliest staff, cozy cabins and no wifi! The perfect getaway with amazing views if the ocean, multiple beaches and a short drive to the Hoh rainforest.

Kalaloch Lodge was a nice surprise after a long road trip and exploring in the wet weather typical this time of the year. I had booked a room online here last minute since it was the only property left with had a room availability allowing dogs. It was expensive, but I didn't have any other option. What I didn't realize was that I got an entire lodge/cabin (not a room) right on the coast off Kalaloch Beach. It made the expensive cost worth. I loved the property! The lodge was very cozy with two comfortable beds, a kitchen and wood burning fire place. The bathroom was nicely stocked with towels and eco-friendly toiletries dispenser. The kitchen was also nicely stocked with cooking and eating utensils, better than even an Airbnb house rental! There is not much in terms of shops and restaurants around the property, but there is a small store for basic things (think gas station store) and a restaurant with great food onsite. The staff were all nice, helpful and friendly. I enjoyed my stay very much from the moment I walked in soaking wet to check in. I wish I could stay extra nights, but it was also a double whammy Valentine's Day and President's Day weekend. I think my only con is that there is no wifi. Cell reception is already hard to get out there so wifi would've been nice. I would definitely come back here again!
