Me Barcelona review I would say it’s by far the worst 5-star hote we’ve stayed. We stayed for 6 nights so I think my experience was not an exception. 1. In the shower there’s shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap. We checked in after an 11-hr long flight and just went straight to shower when we entered the room. It’s awkward to shower with hand soap, but we thought it could be a muiti tasks cleaner. Until two days later we tipped, came back to the room and found out there were two pieces of chocolates and surprisingly, the hand soap became body wash! 2. The housekeeping doesn’t finish work at once. We came from the states and got really bad jet lag. Everyday we woke up at 2am and tried to stay awake to explore the city until 5-7pm we returned to our room and found out the water was not refilled nor the tea bags. While napping at 5pm someone came to knock the door and opened it! Housekeepers came to refill water and tea bags. When they left they even “reminded” us we could turn on the do not disturb. Oh well who would knock on your door or even enter it at 6pm in your hotel room? Or if we turned on the do not disturb which means we would never get water and tea bags until the next day. 3. Lots of power outlets were not working especially the ones by the mini bar. 4. The cups with leftover tea were never dumped and cleaned for 3-4days until we rinsed it. 5. When you go out and back, you need to take two different elevators. In between you need to pass the restaurant area.
