Great spot for city break
Great location within short distance of main rail station with good airport connections. Walking distance of a lot of key tourist spots and very close to hop on hop off bus stop for those further away. Electric went off for about half a day but was fixed within ~6 hours (this seemed to have been planned). Small room but had everything we needed for a city break. Breakfast was great with lots of choice.

Mediocre
The bed was really uncomfortable, when informed reception of this issue they said they couldn’t solve it. I asked for an additional duvet to act as a mattress topper but this was not available. We stayed on floor 6 which is the floor below the rooftop bar. Loud music until very late at night, had to go to reception to complain to turn it down as couldn’t sleep. Location of hotel is okay, 20 minute walk from Trevi fountain and colosseum and an hour from Vatican City. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel to a friend due to noise and discomfort

Great hotel close to the Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica and not far from Roma Termini, lots of restaurants and cafes in the area, close to the back side of the Colosseo and the park where the Baths of Trajan are located. Don’t miss the National Museum of Rome at the Baths of Diocletian, usually not visited by tourists. The 77 has an indoor pool with spa and jacuzzis which are a plus in Rome. Great and attentive staff will accommodate most of your needs, the only drawback is that the bar / restaurant on the top terrace opens after 6 PM.
