    The hotel is difficult to find...inside a shopping mall. Disappointed that their restaurant was closed on Sunday night... The room was cold even if I tried to turn the heat to full....woke up with a cold 😔 Nice breakfast buffet and friendly staff

    Bad experience at Park Inn Solna

    I had a confirmed reservation. Since I was checking in one day later than planned, I informed the hotel about my late arrival, and the hotel cheerfully acknowledged my request and confirmed that a not will be kept in the system so that I will have no problem. When I arrived, however, I was told my reservation was cancelled! There was no explanation and when I asked about the confirmation email I received from the hotel, I was told the person who sent it had "lied." However, I later found out that the person who sent the email (ELIN) had indeed inserted a note as she said in the email. Anyway, I was offered the choice between room without electricity and the conference room with electricity. Naturally, I chose the latter and had to spend the night in an unheated room (yes, they provided a fordable bed and blankets), and use the bathroom in the sauna next door (which had no soap in the shower!!) This is not the experience you expect in any civilized place, and certainly not in Sweden. More than not having a room which was guaranteed and paid for in advance, it was also the attitude of the person who handled my case. When I mentioned the guaranteed reservation, he just laughed and said "it is only a piece of paper" The hotel is located inside a big shopping mall, and next to subway stop. That way, it is a very convenient location. Anyway, I would be very careful to make a reservation there again because I do not want to repeat my experience.

    Breakfast buffet with gluten free and dairy free options. Great location inside shopping mall makes it easy to find stuff you might need and only footsteps away from metro and bus stops to get around the city
