I was regretted for booking this Hotel. There is no any drinking water in room, no fridge, very narrow space for our family. I could not imigine there is even no soap in bathroom. I paid about nz$200 for it for one night, it showed us 3 star Hotel, why? How? It is ridiculous. It is the worst one I stayed.

Not great
If check in is at 3:00, I expect to check in at 3:00, not wait until 4:00. When you are tired, traveling, etc., it would be nice to check in on time. There was no hot water the first evening. It was 33 degrees outside and I had to take a luke warm bath.

Friendly staff, hotel needs work
I’ve stayed here in the past and it has been great for the location and money. However, this past trip not so good. I took my 13yr old daughter for her bday. I booked a room with 2 double beds only to arrive and find out they overbooked so they gave me one queen bed. We were there for 4 nights after the first night they did give us another room with the double bed like I had booked only after I asked several times. The. The new room had wallpaper falling off and the TV was not working. Now before you say anything about watching tv in the city remember it was me and my 13yr old for 4 days and the weather got nasty for 2 of the days so yes I wanted to watch for weather etc.. day 3 they fixed it and did give me a 10% credit. The staff was all very friendly and tried to make everything right. This hotel just needs a little tlc.

Poor 2.0
Worst Hotel Stay of my Life
The mattress was stained with large awful brown spots. And the first night of our stay the room next to us locked their friend out of their room and was seemingly passed out drunk, so their friend was banging on the door with their fists and feet and screaming to let them back in. We called the front desk to complain about the noise and security came up and then also joined the girl in banging on the door and shouting to try to rouse the friend from their sleep to open the door. We confronted the security about the excessive noise (which had been happening for hours now as we phoned the front desk to complain several times before secured came up) and they told us that the girl was locked out of her room. THAT IS NO EX USE TO MAKE SO MUCH NOISE FROM 1-4am!! This was the worst hotel stay of my life.

Poor 2.0
I stayed here for four nights for a business trip. I paid a bit more for this hotel compared with others in the area because it advertised a fitness center on the site. When I checked in and asked about it, I was told they don't have one. I called and they called the hotel and it was clarified they have an offsite partnership and it's $25 a day. It wasn't advertised that way, and they didn't tell me that option when I checked in. asked them to provide some compensation, but they refused. It gets worse. The room smelled because the shower curtain had soured. The blinds were ineffective, so it was bright in the room all night and there was nothing to do about it. The street noise was very loud. And, finally, I asked the person at the desk to call a taxi for me to return to the airport. He didn't call a taxi, but instead a private driver and didn't inform me that's what he was calling - needless to say it was much higher priced than a regular taxi. I will definitely never be staying here again.

A little peace and quiet
The place was amazing. Bathroom was great...what a's not the biggest of rooms but when you're this close to Little Italy and Chinatown, you're not spending that much time inside . While in Little Italy, I'd definitely recommend the CAPRI restaurant. Great food and awesome staff...prices that can't be beat!

Keep in Mind the Cons and You'll Be Fine
I have mixed feelings about my stay here. It got off to a rocky start, but I would say in the end things worked out overall. Contrary to what their listing online states, this hotel does NOT have a gym or free breakfast. They do however have free coffee and there is a gym nearby, which you can work out at for daily fee. I was "upgraded" to a bigger room, but the room unbeknownst to the person who upgraded me, had a piece of cardboard taped to the toilet tank. The maintenance person they sent up to check it out was surly, and unfortunately, I had to interact with her on two more occasions: Once because my TV didn't work, and once to request a rollaway bed. This woman was nice until she actually had to do her job, in which case she appeared as if everything was a pain in the arse. To her credit, I did not end up needing the rollaway and this was not communicated to her and so she brought it up to me. I felt really bad for this, but she walked away angrily before I had a chance to apologize. I'm sure she's a nice lady, but if I didn't need to interact with her, I'd say my stay was GOOD instead of AVERAGE. Other than her, I was actually really pleased with the rest of the hotel staff. As mentioned, the cardboard on the toilet was not great, but they gave me a 15% discount which was fine. PROS: -Location -Comfy bed -Free coffee CONS: -No gym (as advertised) -No free breakfast (as advertised) -Bad customer service on the maintenance end

one night to attend some meetings. location is fine as I used to live nearby snd love the area but the hotel is sad. How they can charge a "Resort fee" is anybody's guess. Totally not worth the money even if reasonably by NYC Standards. specifically the rooms are tiny, the closet feels like it might fall apart, the paint touch ups are in a different color and sheen, floor is peeling and feels nasty..
