    The bath tube was stopped up the whole time it was like taking a bath and shower at the same time. The water went down very slowly. I had to stand in water when i showered. Reported it but it was the same next morning. Very disappointing

    No airport shuttle

    The room is pretty much what you would expect for a 3 star near an airport. The reason we chose this hotel is so we were close to JFK (it is), but the airport shuttle wasn't running. There was no indication of this on their web site. We arrived at the airport and expected a shuttle pickup, but were informed they stopped running it since COVID hit. We never would have stayed there otherwise. We had to Uber back and forth, negating the lower price of the hotel. They should definitely advertise that they no longer have a shuttle.

    One time stay only

    I received a text from them asking me to update my card info before I got to the hotel to check in. I was transferred 3 times before I could actually do this. Check in was quick. The shower handle was broken. We asked for refills on towels and toilet paper. Never got either. My friend was able to go to the front desk and get a key to my room without showing an ID. She was not listed on my room. Parking is AWFUL. I would have paid to park in the lot but that was full beyond capacity too. There were cars parked that werent in spaces. The front desk manager was nice. She took off $20 for the experience. I dont think this was sufficient, but what could I do? There were kids running and screaming up and down the hall at all times of the night. I called the front desk, and I'm assuming nothing was done because they continued. The room was clean and comfortable. I thought this was the other Hilton JFK, so I was surprised when I got there. I am cool on not staying at this location again.

    All around terrible place. Stay elsewhere.

    Didn’t expect a luxury stay but this was worse than expected. Paid for two king size rooms. Was given rooms two floors apart. One room was tiny and had a double sized bed. When I told the front desk I was told that the reservation came through as one king and one queen. This wasn’t true as I looked over the confirmation email and spoke with hotels.com customer service. Front desk then said they were out of rooms and that I’d have to take it. They didn’t offer anything whatsoever as compensation. Not even an apology. Aside from the room issue, the place was dirty and the entire hotel smells as if the rug needs to be replaced. Hallways were unvacuumed and bathroom had water damaged ceilings and mold. Parking is tiny and cost $30. We parked on the street but it didn’t feel safe. Luckily our car was fine. The entire area around the hotel is sketchy and smells like rotten eggs. It’s right across the street from the nyc salt pile and snow plow lot. Lots of prostitutes in and out. You’re better off at a cheap motel. Same quality as this but less money. The pics make the place look better than it does in person. Hotels.com only offered a credit of 25% for the small room. Giving me the money back would’ve been better. They could’ve at least given 25% of the total cost. Mostly disappointed with the hotel but hotels.com didn’t do their part to fix the situation.

    Book elsewhrere if choice allow.

    The Hilton brand means nothing to me any longer. Everything was disappointing. When they say 'self park', it is not as opposed to 'valet parking'. It is, 'you find your own parking off the premises - yourself - in our sketchy neighborhood' The not deceptive wording should have been 'paid onsite parking'. Purposeful, and disappointing - as available and cost of parking ALWAYS factors in my booking choices. Everything else was... well, just book someplace else: less you must book near JFK.

    There was no free parking or free shuttle to the airport as advertised. $30.00 a day parking is a lot, therefore I parked on the street like most of the other guests. I felt unsafe walking from the car to the hotel at night after parking.
