Kind of overpriced
Everything was okay, sheets was fresh and room was cleaned. This hotel does not have A/C nor a fan that they could offer. Kinda pricey for a night without those features. Lodge is all wood, so you could hear everyone above you.

Poor 2.0
Worst Hotel experience in life!
The front desk people is dishonest. The rooms was booked for 2 people and arrived with 4 people. We told the front desk people while check in, we were told there is 30 extra charge for 2 extra person and it will be done manually. We left and then the credit card payment shows $138, went back to hotel and was told they charged us for 4 extra person for 2 nights plus tax. This is totally unacceptable. They explained it was because they had a busy evening, we left again as she promised she would manually return us 78 dollar but she didn’t. Tried to call the manager for 2 days, and we finally got our money back, what they say and what they do is the opposite. I was shocked as I never had such bad experience anywhere in the world. Please check your bill before leaving the hotel as we noticed other guests had similar experience. BTW, the entire facility is old, towel and bed clothes are not clean.

Not a $300/night stay
I booked 5 nights for this trip for 4 people in total. Many of the properties were straightforward, no hidden fees or costs. However, I found that for this property, I was charged over $100 per night extra in taxes and fees (by I did not catch this in time and was not able to cancel because they required a week notice. I paid over $300 per night for these rooms and I have to say they are not worth that amount. The bathroom was tiny and the fan dripped on you while you sat on the toilet. The rooms are dated and not well maintained overall. I have to say the service was great and the people very friendly.

Beware the Hidden Fees
I had no issues with the resort itself. The room and location were fine and staff was friendly enough. The thing that was very disappointing was the hidden fees that were tacked on upon our arrival to the property. We rented the 3 bed executive loft for 2 couples. At some point while booking, the number of people staying in the unit was changed to 1. When we arrived at the resort, we were dismayed to find out that an extra $15 per person per night was to be charged for the 3rd and 4th person. This was after I was honest and corrected the number of guests staying there. This was also after shelling out extra for the larger room which is literally advertised on this website as “sleeps 6 people.” Nobody would rent this room for 2 people, since there are 3 beds, and yet the resort feels it fair to add an extra charge for occupying the room as intended. The staff was not helpful when I brought this up and hid behind a manager who was conveniently not around. I have never left a negative review in my life but I feel that this deceptive, and frankly false advertising, should be brought to prospective guest’s attention.

Very good 8.0
Great location, spacious loft.
Very quiet area, yet close to all you need. Beautiful view of quiet marina. You can hear sea lions barking from fairly far away. Clean room, comfortable beds. Loft suite with fireplace was spacious enough for 4 adults and a teenager.

Clean and convenient. Great View

Beautiful view
Front desk staff was great. Very friendly young lady. Room was great. We were forewarned the walls were thin and she was right. A suggestion - families with little kids should not be on the 2nd floor. New pollows would be as assert.

Stayed Friday and Saturday night. Friday night was a bit noisy with music and loud talking. Saturday was much quieter. This property is located on the main strip and is close everything in ucluelet.
