A Motel 6 At Sheraton Premium Pricing
Peeling paint, cracked ceilings, a broken AC and a surly staff were just a few of the things that greeted us when we arrived from our 22:30pm flight arrival to this Sheraton. After calling the front desk about the broken AC because it was scorching like a sauna in the room, we were told someone would come up immediately. While waiting, we unpacked our suitcases only to be told that we had to move to another room. So back down we went through a senselessly labyrinth-like set of hallways with no signage to the elevator for a 10 minute wait in line to get new room keys from the unpleasant and surly front desk person. By this point, we were extremely tired from our travels and wanted nothing more than to have a good night's sleep before another 30-hour day of flights the next day. Unfortunately, even with the new room's AC unit on full blast running all night the room never cooled down. It was also as unpleasant as the first room, with outdated finishes, peeling wallpaper and cracks in the ceiling. The bed appeared to to have been made by a 5 year old with no care. The rooms are all in desperate need of an update for 21st century travelers in particular; after all, this is the entire purpose of this hotel. There are no plugs by the bedside, so if you want a wake-up call or want to charge your phone, you need to do all of your charging and alarms at the only wall plug by the desk. Frankly, the entire room experience was reminiscent of a Motel 6 at five times the price.

Brown water = no good.
The water out of the tap and in the shower was brown. My partner began showering without realizing it and found their skin started burning. The water out of the tap was a solid brown. We could not brush our teeth, shower, or drink water. A nightmare of a stay. What's worse is the hotel and Hotels.com have put us through the ring-around trying to get us any semblance of a partial refund, since we were unable to use 1/2 of the services the hotel was meant to be offering.
Brown water turned lighter after running for 20 minutes.
