No tourist information available in a town that from its train station to its bus stop is disfunctional. Even taxis are unreliable. There seems to be no money for any tourist help--from the museum park on. The problem is not so much the hotel--although it lacks in friendliness and promptness--but a town seemingly populated only by tourists, so poor restaurants, cheap gift shops, the works. Don't stay more than one night unless on an organized tour (recommended).

Excellent location. Beautiful building and nice service. Be aware that the restaurant attached to the property is not part of the hotel....you cannot put the tab on your room bill. Only the buffet breakfast is included at this restaurant.

Excellent Experience
We got really nice room and excellent service. Given the price we paid, it was a really good deal. Hotel is within walking distance to all key tourist attractions. Excellent dining area and food quality. And there are many interesting things to see and do.

This is a hotel in a great location in Ortigia, so glad we found it! Breakfast very nice, service is excellent! All of the staff was wonderful! Our room was a Jr suite with small balcony overlooking Via Roma, did I mention location?? You can walk to everywhere or hop on the / off bus for all day for $5E. Right next to the beautiful cathedral, many restaurants, shops etc. we will be back to stay again!
