Exceptional 10.0
Great location of the property. Although it was not directly in the busy main part of the town, it was easily accessible by the shuttle coach bus (yes, a coach, not a typo) that ran all the time, even to the late PM hours. I much prefer this as the hustle and bustle of beautiful Sorrento was easily available when you wanted it but not so when it was time to relax. We must have taken the coach 6 or 7 times and they were always on schedule. The views of the Gulf of Naples from our room was breathtaking. Room itself was nice and well-maintained but could use a little improvement on the AC as they are not used to American AC tastes. A tad humid but again, not keeping us from getting a relaxed sleep. We asked for some help with finding an outlet and they were up in like two seconds to help. Cleaning staff very friendly. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise in a spacious and elegant dining room. Love the self-serve cappuccino, pastries and fruits, although the eggs were very tasty, they were a bit runny for my taste. Pool was huge with chairs aplenty. Hotel desk clerks were very responsive and never experienced a line there more than one person deep. Their English was good enough. In terms of negatives, wish the place had a fitness center as they have ample room for it and a large amount of visitors to make good use of it. Did not like the Italian keyboard at the business center. Could not find the @ key, lol. Minor stuff as you can see. Highly recommended hotel! Have fun!

Fair 4.0
A fantastic view is all this property has to offer. Something you can get at many other Sorrento hotels at a much lower cost. The hotel staff greeted us rudely from the first minute we set foot in the hotel, and it went downhill from there. We stayed in 4 hotels in Italy for our trip, three of them great, this one awful. There was no heat in the room despite numerous calls to the front desk, the floor was dirty in the room, there were almost no free outlets to plug appliances into, the safe in the room is too small to store anything larger than a 10-inch iPad (and while the staff said they would keep laptops behind the desk, they also told us they were not responsible if the laptops suddenly vanished). We reserved a king bed online and when we got there we had a room with two singles. It took half an hour of badgering them before they would accept that two women could be married, and there was much eye-rolling and some comments that didn't sound very nice, although since we didn't speak Italian we could only go by the tone and the eye rolls. When my spouse had passport problems and we had to leave early to return to Naples, they charged us a full nights stay as penalty, plus 5% on the entire trip, AND claimed it was Expedia's fault. I even cut my foot on a broken ashtray on their patio, and they not only didn't give a crap, they never even sent someone to sweep up the shards of ceramic. How is this a 4-star hotel?

Good 6.0
Great spot, terrible service.
Hotel was a very cute Italian place, felt very homey but the service from the front desk was terrible. They were all very rude. One example was that we had booked a boat excursion for the whole day and were to be picked up by a certain time in the morning. Well about 10-15 min passed that time we had asked the front desk if they could help us contact them and because we did not book the excursion through them they gave us a lot of attitude about helping as if they were pissed that we didnt book it through them. We had booked the excursion way before reaching Italy we did not know they offered those options, but refusing to help us call because we did not book it through them is ridiculous.

Very good 8.0
Nice hotel, needs updating
Nice hotel that would benefit from updating. Nice large room and bathroom, great sea view from balcony, nice large pool, plenty of sunbeds. Breakfast could have done with choice of more hot food, scrambled eggs not good, tea and coffee not good, hot water for tea, not always very hot. Only 1 slow toaster. Lunch we had by the poolside was good. We had 2 evening meals when we stayed at hotel in wet weather, quite expensive and food just ok, room for improvement. The hotel is just over 1 mile from centre and on a winding up hill road which has no footpath, so quite dangerous when walking, shuttle bus provided by hotel ok, but needs to be more often, every half hour throughout the day and later into the evening, till up to 1am.

Great location, great hotel
Ideal location if your trying to stay in sorrento and commute by train to other surrounding towns. They have a free hotel shuttle that takes you in to town and picks you back up. Train station from drop off point is about a 10-15 min walk, well in my case I had luggage. Breakfast was not the greatest. Then again what could you expect out of a breakfast buffet that Is presented every morning to the many guests that stay there!? Of course it's not going to be quality. Still you may find something sufficient to curb your appetite for the morning. Coffee I would say was quite delicious. I rented the family room with balcony sea view and had the most amazing view with large balcony. Front desk was very friendly and provided information when needed.
