    Not again.
Room could never get cool and would get warmer around 4-5 am each day. Elevators vs our room 2 - 3 minute walk - each way - poor design. Shower would “scream” as water was on. Curtains in room took an effort to open or close that was on the verge of being comical. Mini bar “rules” were manipulative and your whole mini bar ideology should be revisited. In other words be different then the other hotels. Your sheer volume profit would off set your ridiculous profit margin from mini bar. Front Desk, Bell Desk, Housekeeping, Valet was superb, especially Scott. Some of the most polite and attentive personnel I have ever come across. Buffet was awful - food and hostess staff. We went off site every meal after that experience. 5 people three meals a day. Pool music should seriously reflect the demographics of your guest, not your staff. There were far more 40+ year olds at the pool than 20 somethings, yet the music was for 20 somethings. Every 15 min or so an adult contemporary or country song would play. Instead rap music spouting off offensive N- word language was the norm. Lifeguard spit in the pool as he was flirting with bikini server. Cigarette smoke in casino and pool was unacceptable, we stay at other casinos and nothing to that level. We went to strip to gamble because it was so strong. Invest more in air handling/filtration. Parking and valet was good. We stayed off the strip because this time we brought our three sons. Wouldn’t recommend your resort.

    Very good 8.0
Beautiful resort. The hotel staff are excellent. The Casino staff are burned out and angry. The rooms are very clean, but they don't give you a coffee machine because they want you to buy the $8 a cup coffee, or the $27 a pot coffee. The pool is gorgeous but they do farm it out to private events, meaning you may have booked there so your family could be at the pool each day, but then you find that you aren't allowed in the pool because of a private event. I had one afternoon to lounge by the pool after my convention, but couldn't because they closed it for a private wedding. I looked out over the pool that night and the wedding was not in the pool at all... they had a nearby enclosed area. Instead of closing the pool, they should have just turned off the music so the wedding party could have their wedding music instead. As far as meals, every meal you eat will cost $40 to $50 dollars including tip. I ordered room service once for breakfast. It said American Breakfast $25 Small Pot Coffee, $27 Large Pot Coffee. Then it had the choices for eggs, bread, meat and potatoes below. I chose one of each plus tea instead of coffee. I expected to pay $25, but instead, the meal, with tip was $44 because each item apparently had its own unprinted price.... The $25 and $27 for coffee was EXTRA. Apparently, there is food and shopping about a block and a half walk from the casino. Next year at our next convention, I'll be walking out side to eat at some place more reasonable.

Pretty hotel that is poorly managed
We stayed for 4 nights in July. The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were very well maintained and comfortable. Our only complaint about the room was that we were on a non-smoking floor, but the hallways smelled quite smoky. Our biggest complaint was the service: 1. No one in front of the hotel would help us at check in. There were several staff there all talking with each other and when we tried to interrupt to ask for help, they continued their conversation. 2. The person who checked us in at the front desk was not very knowledgeable about the hotel. 3. The minibar policy is absolutely ridiculous. There is an open table top minibar for snacks and a fridge. If you touch anything and don’t have it back in place in 45 seconds you are charged. We made sure to stay far away. The morning of checkout we woke up early and tried to check out using the TV. There was a charge for that day from the minibar and as we had just gotten out of bed, we hadn’t touched anything. When we called to ask for the charge to be removed, we were shuttled between the front desk and room service and both said they couldn’t help us. Very frustrating. We used the pools several days. They are pretty, but the music is much too loud and inappropriate for young children. They were playing songs with explicit language most of the time we were there. It’s a beautiful place, but is nicer to visit than to stay given the very poor service provided. We would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nice resort off the strip close to hiking
The hotel and surrounding restaurants/shops was much bigger than expected. Lots to choose from and close to great hiking in the red rock mountains on the West side of Vegas. The room and bathroom were spacious and definitely appreciated the beautiful view of the surrounding red mountain range. It’s hard at first to figure out how to drive into the hotel with so much else surrounding the hotel itself but one learns. Traffic is no where near as intense as the strip but still a lot of activity - this is not your zen chill hotel although the yoga and workout rooms were terrific for escape from larger crowds. My dislikes are limited : - Do not like a mini fridge stocked with beverages on sensors which result in a charge if you move something. Ditto with the snack shelves in the room. The hotel did provide a smaller empty mini fridge gratis but the fridge was so noisy that we had to unplug it at night. - The emergency response system went off continuously for at least 15 minutes at 12:30 AM atan ear splitting volume with a speaker /alarm close to the bed. This was an alert, not an evacuation order and was ultimately resolved with absolutely no explanation by anyone. Is it necessary to have such intensity for an alert - as contrasted with an evacuation order? Why no explanation / apology at some point for such startling ear splitting noise in the middle of the night?

    Exceptional 10.0
My husband and I always play, and eat here and decided to stay, it was absolutely the most amazing experience we have had and we stay in Vegas twice a year and have stayed at Venetian, Delano, Bellagio, and RED ROCK rates supreme over those other places! Every employee I spoke with went above and beyond their duties. I called the front desk and asked where the gift shop was and instead of her just telling me look at your map she personally looked at the map with me and directed me the easiest way to get there and took the time even though she was busy! Next we called at 2am for room service and the lady took over 5 minutes to find out for me which items were available at that time and accustomed my needs and wants, then she personally delivered the food to the 19th floor and laid it out beautifully for us. When we first arrived at the valet they were very busy and the gentlemen asked if we were checking in and I said yes, he then informed us we were at the casino valet and our walk to the hotel side valet would be very long, he then gave me turn by turn directions how to get there and offered assistance if I needed it. I Seriously cannot say enough amazing things about RED ROCK, YOU MUST STAY!!!! I also called the manager and let her know that we had received the best service ever and she was even asking how to make our stay even better, I was blown away. Thank you to all of the employees that make each and every person feel like a celebrity!!!!!
