New England trip
The hotel looks ok. The staff was professional. That is to say very business-like. No show of friendliness whatsoever. Not sure if it is a New England trait or what. We found two of the shower towels soiled. I supposed they were not checked after being washed. They were promptly replaced after we requested replacements. Overall, it was an ok stay. I probably will not stay at this hotel again. It is dated. The rooms need to be modernized.

Considering the elegance of the hotel, the room was remarkably small and subpar. I requested a bigger room after check-in and they said they weren't able to provide me with one, which I found hard to believe. Disappointing, overall.

Clean Comfortable Room, period.
Apparently due to Covid somehow, there was literally no service aside from front desk during my 4-night stay. Room was not made up once! Restaurant was closed, so no continental breakfast, but not even complimentary coffee and cookies in the lobby although there was snacks and drinks available for purchase. The room was comfortable and clean, but needs some anti-slip surface in the shower tub. I would more likely give this a better review under normal operating conditions, but since nothing in the world is very normal nowadays I can only say that this hotel is fine if all you want is to sleep, shower and watch TV. So it was ok, and the room rate was fairly agreeable, but nothing to write home about considering the circumstances.

This hotel was such a disappointment. Room wasn't clean all the way. Neighbor were definately on drugs. They were yelling and screaming all night. Woke up at 7am and they were still just as loud. Room smelled like cigarettes ALL night. Asked for towels, took them 2 hours. Lobby people were rude. I wish I could get my money back.
