Very basic
Just the ability to make coffee in room would be a huge improvement. Otherwise, the location close to the University is the only reason staying there.

Fine stay at Grosvenor Glasgow
Our stay at the Grosvenor was good, the hotel met our expectations fully. The ability to accommodate our dog was great and straightforward. The staff at reception were friendly, helpful and welcoming. All in all a good experience.

Bit faded but convenient location and helpful staf
Comfortable room. Pretty threadbare bedding - hole in duvet cover. Clean bedroom, mould in bathroom - seals around bath esp mouldy. Generally a bit tired but clearly cleaned on a daily basis, just needs better maintenance. Helpful staff. Cocktail bar was closed by 1050pm. Perhaps a January thing?

A bit disappointed
This hotel was always a favourite of ours but this time we noticed a marked difference. Staff were lovely though. Room was cold on arrival with the heating completely off. Curtains in room were torn. Carpet had not been hoovered because we found approx 6 hair pins all over the floor. Bathroom had a damp dirty shower curtain. Duvet was not warm enough for the time of year. Just appears that the hotel has gone downhill a bit. Holes in corridor walls and the bedroom doors have not been tidied up since all the seals were used during Covid.

Sorry to say... Disappointing stay :(
I regularly visit Glasgow and wanted to shake things up by staying in a West End hotel as excellent location for Byres Road and the Botanics. On arrival I was allocated a dirty room which hadn't been serviced and had to go back downstairs for a new room. The standard rooms were disappointing and dated compared to their City Centre counterparts - Voco Grand Central, Blythswood, Apex, Maldron all more modern and fresher. They also felt very small. No tea/coffee facilities either. The corridors and decor of this hotel all feel slightly aged also. I wouldn't come back here until it had a revamp. On a positive all staff I came across were super friendly and helpful and everyone was very pleasent.
