This modern hotel was a perfect location for our six-night stay in Tallinn's old town. The address is on Vana Viru, the tourist-filed pedestrian street at the east end of old town, but the hotel entrance is on its north side, away from the busy street. Lots of souvenir shops and restaurants nearby, including a McDonald's, which we found useful for quick, cheap breakfasts. (The hotel's small breakfast buffet was an overpriced 16 euros per person.) Our hotel was a great location for local transportation. Walk east two blocks along Vana Wiru to Viru Valijak, where all four of Tallinn's tram lines run. Line #4 goes to the airport, with a stop along the way (Bussijaam stop) that's a block from Tallinn's international coach terminal. The trams on Line #4 are more modern than the others, with one easy step up, and room for luggage in the stroller space in the front car. Trams #1 and #3 go to Kadriorg Park, where the main art museums are located. Tram fares are 2 euros cash each way, paid to the driver (exact change only). Just east of the tram lines on Viru Valijak is a large, multi-story shopping mall called Viru Keskus, whose basement level includes a supermarket and Tallinn's main city bus terminal. We knocked a point off our hotel rating because our twin beds were more narrow than most European hotels, and those fewer inches make turning awkward. But if you're thin - or booking a larger bed - this is an excellent place to stay.

Great location, great price, great restaurants!
The hotel is in a prime location and has amazing restaurants located in the hotel. We tried both Farm and Rukis. Farm was good, service was excellent but it's more fine dining and a pretty smart menu so you need to be an adventurer or you'll be disappointed. I loved the deer fillets that I had but the Bloody Mary that they advertise was just vodka, tomato juice, lemon juice and some pepper. Not bad but not exactly right either. Rukis is amazing! Coffee is wonderful, yogurt and jams are so fresh and the baked goods are phenomenal. As for the hotel it was very clean, well appointed but as usual not enough power outlets where you need them and the beds are way too soft. I didn't mind but it would really bother you if you're used to firm. I'd stay at this hotel again easily. It's very well priced for the location and all in all a great place to stay and try some new meals.

Just inside Old Town
Overall the hotel is in an ideal location - just inside the Viru Gates of Old Town. Having a room on the inside (parking lot) side was nice because you had a good view of the roofs and church spires of Tallinn. However there was noise each evening by locals who seem to use the parking lot as a place to congregate. I would also suggest not eating in the hotel for breakfast. It is overpriced. Go to a local cafe and eat for less, e.g. Maiasmokk, amongst others, which will get you to see the city come alive in the morning, while having a cup of coffee and a pirukas or other baked treat.

Excellent location, value, comfort
I stayed at the hotel for several nights. The staff were very helpful with suggestions, spoke English and Russian well, helped with letting to use their printer for my business needs. The room was spacious, warm, clean, although the carpets were somewhat dated. I asked for a room with a bathtub and was given one. The bathtub was modern and clean and the hot water and water pressure were excellent. I didn't have breakfast, which was pricy for me. The location is as good as it gets with all the attractions nearby. There was a minibar in the room; adequate TV channel choices.

Hotel Location
The Hotel is in a great place located in Old Town.. No car needed you will just need to be able to walk. The rooms are small and if you do not like noise at night you may want to choose a different Hotel... People outside are active late into the night. Top floors recommend if at all possible. Shops are a stones throw from the Hotel so no need to worry about food . Breakfast is 16 Euros per day at the Hotel. Over all I only slept in the Hotel.. :-)
