WOULDN'T stay here again
Didn't stay at the New valron as Hotels.com or New Valron changed my hotel without notifying me. I ended up stayed in the Blackpool Promenade Hotel When i arrived at New Valron there was a notice on the door i then had to call a telephone number so they could come to show where i was staying. Luckily I had 2% battery on my phone and i managed to call them otherwise not sure what i would of done There was no wifi in the room when i booked amenities stated wifi in rooms, daily cleaning saw no cleaners had a TV with no remote so could watch TV as you needed the remote to turn it on. They said they were going to sort out a remote but never did got fed up of asking after 2 days. The wall seemed thin as we could here the people talking in the next room talking The heater didn't work either but in fairness they did supply a heater. There was rubbish bags on the landing on Friday when i arrived and they were still there Tuesday morning when i left. One day I called the reception desk number and a guested answered the phone as there was no receptionist and ge was waiting to check in.

DO NOT BOOK
We booked this hotel, no answer at the door, kept ringing the number, someone finally answered told us we were in a different hotel. Pictures of the rooms isn’t what you get, false advertisement. Got to the hotel no one on reception just the cleaner there and she at to do everything when she didn’t have a clue, (not her fault) told us our check in was 3pm, states on here 2pm. Rooms were filthy, hotel run down, In one of the rooms the carpet was soaked ceiling looked like it was coming through so they were a leak from there.

I wouldn't recommend
They are frauds. I paid to go to the Valron hotel. They sent me to the Blackpool Promenade due to painting being done in new Valron. It had nothing that was stated on the advertisement. The put us in what looked like a hostel. Pushed two beds together to make it double. No TV channels, no towels, it was freezing cold, bathroom was awful and the place was dirty. I told them I didn't want to stay there and that wasn't the hotel I booked. They refused to give me a refund. I then packed my stuff and waited in the car whilst looking for a place to stay because I was so unhappy with it.

Grim
Turned up and couldn’t get in, eventually someone came out and said “I’m moving you as it’s not been cleaned in there”. Took us to another hotel round the corner which was beyond grim. Stairs covered in dirt and cig ends, room was tiny and absolutely freezing, dirty tissues under the bed, empty vape on the floor of the bathroom, toilet was leaking onto the floor, no toilet paper or towels, the tv was covered in some kind of sticky residue as was the remote control and the bedding on one of the bunk beds had a suspicious looking brown mark in it. Went down to say I wasn’t prepared to let my children stay in the room and there was no solution or alternative offered, just blamed it on the Polish cleaners. I wasn’t expecting the Ritz but having stayed in many B&Bs in Blackpool, they tend to be basic but comfortable and clean. This was the worst room I’ve ever walked into and if this was the alternative to the room we probably booked, I dread to think what the New Valeon was like…..

Like beeing in Iraq during the war
We were booked into this hotel only to be told that it was closed when we arrived and were put in a different hotel that was completely different to this one in terms of cleanliness the shower not working i.e freezing mold everywhere the state of the room im describing is not the velour hotel but the replacement one the Blackpool promenade hotel
