The physical location of this property cannot be beat! Full ocean views from every unit/RV spot. We stayed in the cottages and were very impressed with the bed, luxurious linens and toiletries, there were even bathrobes available the unit! If you have stayed in the cabins at other flying flags properties you should be aware that the cottage units at the Avila property *do not* have full kitchens. There is a mini fridge, coffee maker and a tiny sink, but not even a microwave. There is a communal microwave in the hospitality center but we just found it odd there wasn’t one actually in the unit.
Our only real complaint is the check in window for the cottages is from 4-6pm **only**
