This is a great modern hotel, we stayed here twice in the past month. Many of the negative reviews about the elevator access, air conditioning, lighting control, blinds etc are unfounded (unless they were actually broken) but we did not experience this on both our stays. The blinds do open automatically, but this is by design. The elevator access has simple instructions but I saw people ignore them on countless occasions. The air conditioning worked perfectly. Breakfast was good, typical 4 star hotel fare, and the dinner I had was more than acceptable. All the service I experienced was good and staff friendly. I think some people may mistake typical Danish professionalism as being unfriendly, but that’s a cultural thing. I would have given a five star rating except for having to pay to use the pool and to store luggage, I expect this to be part of the deal. The hotel is VERY well located (good for walks along the river and to all the typical tourist attractions) and is quiet, no road noise at all from a street facing room and I am very sensitive to that. The gym is free and very nice, great equipment. Hotel has bicycles you can rent for the day at just over US$20 for the day, which is reasonable, and a must to see all the sites in a short period of time; we used them for two days.
